Sharinga F. Williams, co-author of Monday Mourning, survived a devastating house fire at age five that claimed her brother’s life. Despite severe burns, smoke inhalation, and temporary disabilities, she miraculously recovered, drawing strength from her faith, family, and the care she received at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Today, Sharinga is a devoted mother to her daughter, Nova, and shares her inspiring story of courage, resilience, and hope. Through her writing, she honors her brother’s memory and encourages others to find strength in the face of life’s greatest challenges.
